We may be closing but we'll be putting out killer records all month long.
It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have to announce EKR will be closing at the end of this month. We're extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish is 5 years. We've made a lot of great friends and had some great times.
Growing up in Franklin, we had our little town record store that I used to love visiting. Mystery Train closed in 1996 when I was 15 and I always wanted to give that same feeling I had looking through all the music to a new generation of kids and connect with the seasoned collectors of Franklin. Together with the great people that have worked with us, have been able to do that. I would like to thank Erin Ludwig and Kitley Kern for being part of this small family.
As it stands, we will continue with our current business hours and try to stick with that until the end of the month comes to a close.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone that has stuck with us during our time here in Franklin. You guys have been extraordinarily supportive and we appreciate each and every one of you. Please continue to support all the great record stores in the area. It really is something special to bring home a new album and really spend time with your music.
Thank you,
Cory
