Engine swap night one! Hoping to be back up and on the track for next weekend! Now I can't say I have never removed an engine before π€£.
Well she's loaded and almost ready to go! Less than 24 hours till racing ππ€cross your fingers it won't be a night like the last time π€£π
It's been a crazy couple weeks. No racing last weekend, we went to a friend's wedding in Illinois π. They had a pick your own drinking glass table and it's like it was made for me π. Friday was rained out and so I made a last minute decision to race Sunday. The only time I thought the car felt decent was during the bmain and only then until the last couple laps. So even though I'm exhausted from the travel, a tdy, and then racing, going ended up being worth it. Finally figured out what the grinding noise is which is good yet another thing to fix ππ€¦ββοΈ. Not sure if I'll make it to MRP Friday, but gonna try.
Also I am iso:
2x) 195/60/15 tires
2x) 205/50/15 tires
If anyone knows of any, has any, or has something close please let me know π

Friday night at MRP was probably the best race we've had so far. The car is finally starting to feel like it fits me and it's way more comfortable with all the adjustments. We added a pad to the seat that raised me about 2" allowing my arms to clear the side of the seat so that I'm no longer in pain from my arms hitting it all the time. I can also see more over the dash which is really helpful. I still can't entirely reach my dash with my straps tightened π€£ but it's better than it was. Jeep and Jack also did some magic thing with my front wheels π (set the toe, I've watched them do this to their cars but had no clue what it was or what they were doing). I felt like I was able to keep up better this race too, still not entirely up there but I definitely felt 10x better this week then previous ones. Not everyone showed up for the bmains so we ended up making the feature π€

Well, racing at Brownstown wasnt as horrible as I was scared it was going to be. Running with different sized tires, in a different gear, and at a new track was nerve wracking to say the least, but a great experience. I'm glad I went and got some more seat time and I feel like everytime I go out I learn a little more. Serenity has some work that needs done now that things have been changed, but least she's survived another race. I'm hoping to try and make it to MRP Friday, but there's a lot going on in the next 2-3 weeks and will probably be out till next month.
