Workers win big at “The Happiest Place on Earth!”

A judge in Orange County, CA, has approved a $233 million settlement (the largest of its kind in California history) in a class action lawsuit against Disney for underpaying its workers.

Now, at the end of the lengthy legal battle to hold Disney accountable, members of UFCW 324 are set to receive thousands of dollars in back pay with interest – putting the money they earned in their pockets, where it belongs!

Our Fellow Team Member Timothy Schell passed away last week, there is a go fund me page set up in his memory..

They are asking for folks to show up on the Strikeline to show support and if folks want to drop off any supplies like food/drinks, ice, firewood, charcoal, water, Diapers, wipes, baby food, gift cards for fresh food (fruits & veggies), gas cards and canned goods. Best address to come to or deliver food is 1064 Loretto Rd. Bardstown, KY. Please give them plenty of notice before you are delivering anything.
