When the Supreme Court issued it's decision today, I was touring the Japanese internment camp at Heart Mountain. This administration is trying to revive the darkest chapters of our history, and today's decision is a rebuke of Trump's attempts to continue demonizing our immigrant communities. While I am glad that the justices upheld a basic principle of our democracy, we must keep fighting against these ongoing assaults and attempts to divide us. We are stronger together and we will get through this dark chapter if we keep fighting for each other.

Quality child care should not be out of reach. Thrive By 5 Louisville has launched Family Access Scholarships, a pilot program that helps more Louisville families afford early learning for their 3- and 4-year-olds, including families who may not qualify for traditional assistance.
