For those planning to attend the Bluegrass Beekeeping school this Saturday, Access to the KSU Campus has changed this year.

You will NOT be able to enter the campus from Douglas Ave. You must enter at the Main Entrance located at East Main St (US60) and Martin Luther King Blvd. On the campus this street is called University Dr. (see map in the attachment).

Once on University Dr. you will come to a guard booth. The guard may wave you through or ask you the reason for your visit. To speed up this process please print the page labeled “2026 Bluegrass Beekeeping School” (see the attachment) and place on the driver’s side dash.

From the guard booth proceed to Jackson St and take it the Parking lots (see map in the attachment).

While we do not expect these new procedures and route through campus to cause much delay, to be safe please allow extra time.

Lunch this year will be Jimmy Johns ham or turkey sandwiches, green salad, potato salad, chips, cookies, soda or water. There will be gluten free options.

Govto the bluegrass beekeepers website and download the parking pass.
