Two big resources are now online - online game manual and forum for discussions. Do note middle school students should be read-only and not sign up for accounts as it violates district policies and federal law.

I encourage all stake holders to participate in discussions of path forward.

Framingham Robotics Direction for 2026-2027 Season

Over the past several weeks, Framingham Robotics has been engaged in discussions with Event Partners, Coaches, and Teams in New England about the direction to take for the 2026-2027 competition season. We considered four options for Framingham:
- No competitive robotics season.
- Run our own non-affiliated competition season.
- Compete under Global Robotics and Science Foundation structure.
- Compete under Robotics Education Foundation (RECF) structure.

Framingham Robotics has chosen to continue our decade long relationship with the RECF and have our middle and high school teams compete under the RECF Robotics Achieve competition program. RECF's mission is well aligned with Framingham’s educational mission. RECF Robotics Achieve program offers new opportunities for student creativity by embracing 3D printing and sourcing components from alternative robotics platforms.

Framingham, as Event Partners, will host student-centered workshops and RECF Robotics Achieve tournaments for 2026-2027 competition season along with other Event Partners in the region.

Framingham is still in the process of evaluating how to support college/university programs in the region.
