Program RISE

RISE has been on the go this week! 🚙💨

Our amazing team of staff has been taking our services out into the community and making sure we prevent STIs one test at a time. In the last week, we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with both and for testing events.

Services provided included:
⭐️ STI/HIV testing
⭐️ Free condoms and l**e
⭐️ HIV, Hepatitis C and STI prevention training

This weekend we had the honor and pleasure to attend & present at the Ending the HIV Epidemic Summit, hosted by the Boston EMA Ryan White Planning Council’s Consumer Committee!

In a time full of uncertainty, sharing a meal & conversation with fellow community members, care providers, and change makers was the inspiration needed to continue our fight against HIV.

Aside from getting to learn about the projects other providers are working on, we were also able to share about our peer support services (see our poster on slide 3). With over 200 hours of service in the last fiscal year, our peer support staff have been able to maintain services with a cohort of 23 long term clients.

Thank you to the Consumer Committee for all the work, the Ryan White Foundation for the continuous support of HIV initiatives, and all the people working day by day to end the HIV epidemic. See you next year!

Program Rise will be closed Friday for an all-staff event. Regular hours will resume on Monday!💙
