Community Design Fort Worth

You're invited to this month's Transit Mixer! Join us on Wednesday, June 17th to mingle with other transit advocates and talk about our favorite transit from around the world.
We're taking a break from the Transit Academy this month, but we'll be back at it in July! In the meantime, come hang out and reflect on everything we've learned so far.

Time: 4:30-6:30PM, come-and-go

Transit Planning 101, led by Phil Dupler, Director of Planning at Trinity Metro introduced the fundamentals of transit planning to participants through an interactive, hands-on activity to design a transit network.
Participants explored the key factors, tradeoffs, and real-world constraints that shape planning decisions.
By the end of the session, attendees gained a clearer understanding of how transit systems are planned and how thoughtful network design supports accessible, efficient mobility for all users.
