For Babies' Sake

I’m finally getting around to re-introducing myself. We have been pretty quiet over the last year or two but it’s time to get back out here and interact with the world. I’m Mellanie. I’ve been a lactation consultant (IBCLC) for 20+ years. The time has flown by! In those 20 years, my young children have grown up, my marriage has grown ever stronger, and I have grown so much in my professional life. As my children and my practice grew, I discovered a love for herbal medicine, for homeopathy, for root-cause medicine. I love working with moms and babies from the basics of prenatal planning or learning about positioning and milk production to the more complicated issues of oral dysfunction, oral ties, structural issues, bottle refusal and low milk production. It is such a privilege to navigate the world of infant feeding with new families.
