Fort Worth ISD celebrates the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Schools and offices will be closed Monday, January 20.

We are excited to welcome students back on Tuesday, January 7, as classes resume! All campus heating systems are operational, and our schools are prepared to ensure a safe and warm environment for students during the winter weather.

Please note the following updates regarding athletic events:

- Soccer games scheduled for Tuesday, January 7 are canceled.

- Middle School Boys A-Team Basketball games scheduled for Thursday, January 9 are rescheduled to Wednesday, January 8.

- Middle School Boys B-Team Basketball games scheduled for Thursday, January 9 are canceled.

- High School Basketball games will proceed as scheduled.

Fort Worth ISD is preparing to resume district operations and instruction. Offices will reopen to welcome staff on Monday, January 6, and students return on Tuesday, January 7, as classes resume.

While we are closely monitoring weather conditions with national, state, and local agencies, we remain on schedule to welcome staff and students back this week.
