Sometimes standing alone is a far better decision than staying around things and people that hurt you on a regular basis. The distance you create allows old wounds to heal and helps you gather strength resistant to previous pain. Healing never happens when you keep hanging out with what's constantly hurting you. The more you stay in an environment that picks the scabs of your past pain things will never heal properly thus continuing in an vicious cycle. Sometimes the best medicine is a double dose of solitude and silence. By removing yourself you allow your situation to breathe as well as putting you in a better position for God to restore you. Realize that just because misery loves your company doesn't mean you should accept the invitation. Place your restoration and recovery as your top priority and don't stop until you reach your place of peace.

If you only knew how close you were to breaking through, "quitting" would not be on today's to-do list. I'm talking close like the woman with the issue of blood in the same room with Jesus reaching out for His garment close. Or perhaps the seventh lap around the walls of Jericho when they were about to shout close. You are on the doorstep of something BIG and it's important that you see this thing all the way out in order to reap the benefits of your blessings. Keep going, I know what you've been through took a toll BUT it couldn't take you out because God is the Author and Finisher of this story. Don't give up, you are real close!!!!!!

Don't get discouraged because your finish line seems further than your starting point. Simply hold on to the progress that you've already made. Understand that greatness can not be measured unless there are checkpoints of progression along the way or you can't determine the level of maturation you've achieved. Sometimes God doesn't need you monitoring how He will finish the work in you but step back and marvel at your progress already because the change in you is noticeable. Don't allow the enemy to discourage you because you haven't arrived yet. With God's victory, there are no fast lanes. You are stronger than any of your previous days, and things will only get better when you appreciate the small things directly in front of you and trust God's process.

Keep in mind that your commentary can cause conflict in your situation. Sometimes the best response is "hush" until you see God in the happening. Even when others ask, simply refer them God because it's in His hands now. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, so don't allow your doubts to speak on your behalf, especially when your situation is with a higher department. It's best to say less when you're being tested! God's got you, do your words?
