A reminder to always pay attention to the little details; which in addition to changing your clocks and timers, it's a good time to:
- Check the expiration date on your fire extinguishers!
- Check your smoke detectors!
- Test your furnaces, fireplaces and heaters so they can be serviced if they are malfunctioning.
- Find your outdoor faucet covers!
- Change your sprinkler controller schedule for winter!
- Any other winter prep needed!

In case you forgot, change your clocks by setting them back one hour!
Don't forget, if you have these components, to change/check the batteries in:
Smoke Detectors
Water Heater Float Switch
Sprinkler Controller Battery Backup
Gas Fireplace Battery Backup
Also, don’t forget to disconnect your outside hoses and put on insulated covers on your taps for winter.
