THIS. This is what Project Access Tarrant County is all about.

Collaborative partnerships. Holistic care. Pooling community resources to meet the needs of those in need.

Marisa's story would not be possible without MATRIX funding through Texas Health Community Hope, the excellent primary care that Dr. McDougall provides at Cornerstone Assistance Network, the specialty services with Dr. Arevalo at Grace OBGYN, PA, or the surgical space provided at Texas Health.

Marisa's story is striking, but it is not unique to our work. Project Access provides specialty and surgical services to patients like her every single day.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone involved in Marisa's care. We cannot do this work without you.

Hot off the press!

Project Access Tarrant County (Tarrant County Academy of Medicine) is honored to receive funding from the BEACON Fund at North Texas Community Foundation.

This two-year grant will help us continue breaking down barriers to healthcare for low-income, uninsured residents across Tarrant County. Funding will support access to care in priority neighborhoods, Salud en Tus Manos health literacy initiative, and strengthen the tools and technology that help patients navigate the healthcare system and take charge of their health.

For nearly 15 years, our volunteers, partners, and supporters have made it possible for thousands of patients to receive life-changing care. We are grateful to the BEACON Fund at North Texas Community Foundation for investing in healthier communities and helping us expand our impact.

Thank you for being part of this work. Together, we are restoring hope and improving lives.

Our newest Salud en Tus Manos class, Food as Medicine, kicks off tonight!

This four-class series will teach patients how diet can impact health and will conclude with a hands-on cooking component! Special thanks to TCU – Texas Christian University for hosting us in their culinary classroom and to the The Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU medical student volunteers.
