💡 Breed Spotlight: The Irish Wolfhound

Meet one of the gentle giants of the dog world! The Irish Wolfhound is one of the tallest breeds out there, once bred to hunt wolves but now known for being calm, kind, and incredibly loving.

🐺 Personality: Sweet, patient, and laid-back — great with kids and other pets.
🐺Fun Fact: Full grown males can stand over 7 feet tall on their hind legs!
🐺 Care Needs: Moderate exercise, minimal grooming, and lots of space to stretch out.

Make room on the couch (or maybe buy a second couch) because these pups love to cuddle!

Barking, pacing, whining, lunging at windows—these aren’t just annoying behaviors, they can be dangerous too. A calm dog makes for a safe, enjoyable ride!

Good car manners = less stress for you and your dog & more adventures together!

💡Breed Spotlight: The Leonberger!🦁

Majestic, gentle, and adorable!

With roots in 19th-century Germany, the Leonberger was bred to resemble a lion and serve as a versatile working dog. These gentle giants are known for their massive size, soft double coats, and iconic black masks.

Personality:
Leonbergers are affectionate, loyal, and incredibly gentle — especially with kids. Despite their size, they’re known as “gentle giants” and thrive as family companions. Their calm nature makes them excellent therapy dogs too!

Training:
Smart and eager to please, but early socialization and consistent, positive training are key. Their size means manners matter from day one!

Fun Fact:
Leonbergers were once owned by royalty, including Napoleon III and Tsar Alexander II!
