In 1986, at the age of 22, Kathy Kidwell began working for First National Bank (FNBT), which is now CapTex Bank. At that time, the bank only had two locations - the motor bank on State Highway 121 and the main downtown location - and 12 employees. She left the bank for a few years to raise her children then returned in August of 1998. Kathy has worked in a variety of positions and has seen the bank expand and change quite a bit during her tenure. After thirty plus years, Kathy has decided to retire. CapTex Bank will honor her with a retirement celebration and invites her family, friends and customers to celebrate with her. The come-and-go reception will take place at the downtown Trenton branch, located at 106 Hamilton Street, on Friday, May 31st, from 1pm to 3pm and will include cake, cookies, and punch for those who come by to visit with Kathy and wish her well. Kathy has been a huge asset to the bank. She will be greatly missed, but we are very excited for her as she will now get to be a full-time Mimi.

CapTex Bank wants to congratulate Kathy Kidwell on her 25th work anniversary coming up on August 17, 2023. Please come by the Trenton Branch located at 106 Hamilton Street on that day anytime between 10am and 2pm to help us celebrate. We will have cake and punch and other refreshments for those who come by to visit with and congratulate Kathy on this big accomplishment.

Kathy began working for First National Bank of Trenton in 1986 at the age of 22. At that time, the only locations of the bank were in Trenton. There was the main location on Hamilton Street and the motor bank on Hwy 121. Only 12 people worked for the bank at that time. Kathy left the bank for a few years to raise her children then returned on August 17, 1998. All together Kathy has worked for the bank for over 30 years. Kathy has worked in a variety of positions during her time at the bank. She is a huge asset to the bank, and we are very blessed to have her as part of our work family.
