PSA!!!!!!! My move to Okinawa has been delayed! I will be in Texas until the end of the year 🤍

Long story short, we adopted our dog Wicket last August and we found out this week that we were missing a document we needed to move her to Japan.

After a full day of phone calls and emails, we finally found the document through her previous moving company that helped move her to Hawaii before we adopted her.

Unfortunately, my vet reviewed the document and we learned that Wicket has to complete a part of the import process over again and it requires a 6 month waiting period before she can enter Japan 😭

This means I will be staying in Texas until December (or possibly November, depending on whether I travel ahead of Wicket and Teddy)

We are definitely bummed that our timeline has completely changed, but we’re choosing to trust that everything happens for a reason. We have done long distance before, so this is nothing we can’t handle together!! 🤍

I do plan to travel and visit my husband in late July or early August, but otherwise I will be resuming Texas sessions as normal! 🤩
