FunkyTown Food Project

Weeding and harvesting aren't the only skills we learn on the farm! Our interns learned how to mix and pour concrete and fine-tuned their drilling skills creating cement tarp weights for the farm to use for generations to come.

Good morning from the Cosmic Brownies! (One of our crews here on the farm!) After experiencing some soreness from the hard farm work, they decided to start each day with some stretches.

Mentorship is at the heart of what we do at the FunkyTown Food Project. Today, Fiona, one of our program associates, and Everett, one of our Assistant Crew Leaders, teamed up to present a workshop on workers in the food system.
