In the quiet between heartbeats,
I found you...
not as a moment,
but as an infinite unfolding.

Your soul lingers
like warmth upon my heart,
a soft echo of something
the soul has always known.

Then come closer to me
not just to my skin,
but to the places within me
no one else has ever reached.

I don’t want a gentle love.
I want the kind that ruins silence,
that pulls truth out of my bones
and leaves me trembling with it.

If love were fire,
you’d be the flame I’d never fear
but now I know…
you are the fire that fuels,
the brightburn within me.

Love me like a maelstrom
that knows my name...
like you’ve searched lifetimes
just to keep finding me again.

Let me feel you
in the spaces between thought and time,
in the breath I forget to take
when you’re near.

And if time dared take everything from me,
strip the stars from the skies...
I’d still reach for you
through the ashes of everything.

If I break,
let it be into you.
If I burn,
let it be by your fire.

Because in a world of endless stars,
through every silence, every storm...
I chose you…
and I would choose you
again
and again.
