ABOUT THE PLAYLIST: The genre of the symphony occupies a central place in the classical repertoire and in the typical Phil season. This week’s playlist includes some all-time favorites as well as some that might be new to you. Our Chorus Director, Benjamin Rivera, starts us off with four excerpts from symphonies featuring a chorus, including three from his hometown Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
