Meet Kim, one of the many courageous women in our Faces of Recovery series. Through YWCA Northeast Indiana’s addiction recovery program, Kim is reclaiming her life, finding hope, and building a brighter future. When asked what the program means to her, Kim shared how "this program is the beginning of the rest of my life" and "a jumpstart and wonderful opportunity". We’re proud to stand alongside women like Kim as they take bold steps toward healing and empowerment.

"My story truly began the moment I became a mom. From the instant I held my children, my perspective on life shifted. Motherhood taught me that every choice I make, every challenge I face, and every step I take is about something far greater than myself.

On the uncertain days, it is what grounds me in purpose. Motherhood has shaped not only who I am personally, but how I lead, serve, and show up for others. 👑 Summer has arrived at YWCA Northeast Indiana, and our shelter is buzzing with kiddos excited for a break from school!
Our Children’s Services team is making this season extra special for the kids in our care. This week, they hosted an empowering crown-decorating activity—giving every child the chance to feel like royalty and celebrate their unique strengths. Just look at those colorful crowns! 🌈✨
