This Shabbat, our congregation was honored to celebrate with baby Refael, his fathers Alon and Yogev, and his grandmother Orna before their return home to Israel.

After sharing in the joy of Refael’s recent birth and welcoming him into Jewish life at the mikvah earlier this week, we offered the family a blessing for a safe journey home. What a beautiful reminder that wherever we live, we are one family and one people.
