As temperatures rise this summer, it's important to know where you can go to stay safe and cool. Allen County has several cooling centers available for community members needing relief from the heat. These locations provide air-conditioned spaces where individuals and families can cool down during extreme temperatures.

It’s our final Resource Monday of Mental Health Awareness Month!

This month, we have talked about awareness, self-care, support, and the importance of mental wellness. As we close out the month, we want to remind our community that no one has to face difficult moments alone.

Support can come in many forms — friends, family, counselors, community organizations, support groups, or simply someone willing to listen. Reaching out for help is not a weakness, and checking in on others can make a meaningful impact.

Mental health matters every month, not just in May. Let’s continue creating conversations that reduce stigma, encourage connection, and remind people that hope and support are always important.
