InAsMuch Ministry

So last week Vicki and Cheryl told me we were out of underwear in the clothing bank, so I said well we need to ask God for underwear. I was not being a smart alec; I was serious. God cares about basic needs, and especially the basic needs of the poor: "Inasmuch as you have done for the least of these, you have done for the King". So we began to pray for underwear. Sunday I spoke at Life Church, and when walked in it saw the attached photo of this mound of clothes with a sign behind it that said Inasmuch. Pastor Burris walked over to me, and said all of this is for Inasmuch. Then he said, there is UNDERWEAR AND SOCKS in there; some people said they felt like they needed to buy underwear and socks. I started laughing, and he looked at me, and I said we have been praying for underwear. This is who God is; look at this pile. I have no doubt in my mind that if Jesus walked into Fort Wayne, He would head to IAM, and hang out with us in the lobby.
