Ready for the 2026 Belmont Stakes? 🏇 Saratoga Race Course is!

As the track in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., gets ready to host this year’s Belmont Stakes while Belmont Park undergoes renovations, we’re looking back at what it took to build its 1863 Club.

It required a photo finish because construction took place during the brutal winter months in upstate New York to avoid shutting down the track during race season. With that tight deadline in mind, the design team selected Deep-Dek® Composite to accelerate the schedule.

Not only is it lightweight, versatile, and safe, but the ability to erect Deep-Dek® Composite quickly proved most important for this job. 🏗️
