Thankful for the creative opportunities that my workplace offers. I recently participated in the 2nd Chalk Walk Contest that was alongside the Employee Appreciation event hung annually. I was on the fence about participating since chalk isn't my first choice as a medium but a friend convinced me to do it and i ended up having a absolute blast! This piece did end up winning but I will say there was alot of competition as people brought their artistic talents to the table!

Bailey is a kind, creative, and free-spirited individual who truly marches to the beat of her own drum. She's incredibly welcoming and fiercely loyal, always looking out for her friends and family. With a love for adventure and a unique sense of style, Bailey is one of the most colorful people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting.

I'm thrilled to share a deeply moving experience from a week ago: a live painting I created for a women's retreat, commissioned by the wonderful !

The theme for this retreat was incredibly powerful: forgiveness. We explored how we, as individuals, can learn to forgive even when it feels incredibly difficult and our emotions threaten to overwhelm us. A truly impactful example we reflected on was the story of Brandt Jean, the younger brother of Botham Jean. In 2019, Brandt publicly forgave Amber Guyger, the former Dallas police officer who tragically shot his brother. This profound act, which included a courtroom hug after Guyger's 10-year murder sentence, resonated deeply. Brandt's choice to offer love and hope for Guyger to find solace sparked a wide range of emotions in the public, from immense admiration to understandable frustration and anger.

This entire experience was nothing short of awesome! I learned so many new things about both painting and myself. I'll admit, I was nervous at first—painting has always been a very independent and self-care activity for me. So, creating art in front of a large group of people (and my live stream!) was truly eye-opening and incredibly fun. It just goes to show, when you're passionate about what you do, it's always going to be an amazing time! ❤️
