Ashley joins the Hamed Homes team as a Senior Interior Designer with a wealth of knowledge and experience relative to interior design. After graduating from the CIDA accredited Interior Design program at Ball State University (as well as earning a minor in construction management), she joined a boutique custom builder before entering a decade-long career with a major retailer, specializing in visual merchandising and design.

Her creative enthusiasm for luxury residential interiors has brought her home to Hamed Homes, with her greatest strengths encompassing space planning, sourcing furnishings, and custom materials. Her true passion resides in interior design and of all things beautiful, with keen attention to detail, and most importantly building lasting client relationships as she brings their design dreams to fruition.

Our team is actively interviewing for the right fit for the following positions:⁣

Design Coordinator ⁣
Project Manager/Supervisor ⁣
⁣

Design Coordinator target objectives: ⁣
• Work in concert with the Design Director to coordinate, assist, and support in respective day-to-day activities, ensuring all design objectives are met within timeline and price point metrics. ⁣
⁣
Probably should have the following qualifications:⁣
• Minimum of an associate degree in interior design, preferred⁣
• On-site interior design experienced preferred⁣
• Proficient in: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Microsoft Office⁣
• Strong understanding of space planning⁣
• Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail⁣
• Excellent communication and organizational skills⁣
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment⁣
• Strong fondness for food - we eat. A lot⁣
• Cool stories from your personal/family life - we support a strong work/life balance⁣

Project Manager/Supervisor target objectives:⁣
• Manage and lead work-sites for both new construction and remodel projects, coordinating site activities and ensuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are working synergistically with the project goals and objectives⁣
⁣
Probably should have the following qualifications:⁣
• Bachelor degree in related field, preferred⁣
• 3+ years experience in management of new construction/remodeling projects⁣
• Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, with ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts⁣
• Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods⁣
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality⁣
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail⁣
• Works well in a cross-functional team, as well as with contractors and vendors⁣
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment⁣
• Innate ability to recognize movie quotes, and use in context in conversation ⁣
