Yes, once again we have construction right outside our doors. We were told in the beginning it wouldn’t be affecting anything south of Woods road. We were also told it wouldn’t be a full closure and would be open to local traffic.

We were also told that if there was a need for a full closure the construction company was required to give 24 hours notice so the town could communicate it to residents.

Well, to put it kindly, that is NOT what is happening. We now have a fully closed road exactly like last summer which was detrimental to some of our local businesses…so much so that they are not here to see this summer.

Misleading signage and extremely poor communication is causing our local businesses to repeat last summer.

🇺🇸 AMERICA 250 DECORATING CONTEST🇺🇸

Let’s celebrate 250 years of the USA by decorating Old Lima Road! If you own/operate a business or reside along Old Lima Road then this contest is for YOU!

🗽 Decorate your windows, yard, building etc by July 4th and leave your decorations up through the Huntertown Heritage Days festival (July 30-August 2nd)!

Winners will be announced during Heritage Days!

We will be hosting a People’s Choice award on our social media pages! Be sure to vote for your favorite display!
