Exciting news for Fort Wayne! Developers plan to transform the former Schaab Metal facility into a multi-million dollar development that will house restaurants, retail spaces, Esports area, and public gathering spaces on the riverfront. The plan also includes a trolley system that will travel to and from the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. Council members voted for a tax abatement to help pay for the project, and construction inside is set to begin within 60 days and take about a year and a half before businesses can move in.
