5. Bank Reconciliations

Do the books actually match the bank?
You’d be surprised.

6. Accounts Receivable Aging Report
Who’s paying?
And who’s not?

7. Accounts Payable Aging Report
What bills are waiting to be paid?
And who will pay them once the business is transferred?

Bonus
Employee payroll reports and employee count can reveal a lot about owner dependence, staffing, and risk.

The numbers tell a story.
You just have to know how to read them.
