Couldn’t resist sharing a few progress photos from recent site visits at a very special project. 🙈

We have been busy reviving the soul of this Tudor home through layering in more thoughtful architectural details and millwork that feel true to its character.

Slowly but surely, coming up, all the layers that will make it sing 🎶 European wallpaper, limewashed accents, artistic lighting, and curated furnishings to bring even more warmth, romance, and depth to these spaces. 🤍

It’s been a minute… a year and a half, actually.😅

So excited to reveal the kitchen renovation at !

This project has truly been a labor of love because it was one of my first whole-home renovation projects I took on by myself since starting SJS and it was in the middle of the pandemic.

I'll take you through each space but this post will focus on the kitchen! 😊

What initially began with the clients thinking they wanted a kitchen refresh turned into a total kitchen remodel after realizing through design development that the kitchen, being the heart of the home, was simply was not functioning well for their family.

By removing the double oven bumpout that was smack dab in the middle of the kitchen, we were able to design a beautiful 10’ island and transform the row of closets into a wall of cabinetry, enhancing the flow of the kitchen work triangle. Be it the luxurious countertops, designer light fixtures and hardware, or the top of the line appliances, this kitchen certainly is dressed in the best.
