As promised, here is the information on the next Basic CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training, which will be held at the:

Please register soon, as these classes fill quickly! Remember, class is TWO DAYS, both Saturday AND Sunday. You will receive a CERT backpack, with a hard hat, gloves, flashlight, batteries, N95 mask, and wrench. Lunch is also provided and there is free onsite parking. And, everything else is FREE!

this is a great reminder that map and compass reading is not taught in the basic cert training... maybe it's time to change that.
for after all, when the area is destroyed and landmarks are gone, exactly how do you determine if you are where you are supposed to be.
