Element Tuning

This rally Toyota GR86 with AWD is pretty awesome despite not having a Subaru engine. That engine looks was forward in the chassis however. What do you guys think?

As you can see, all rods are the exact same length but there are slight differences in the thickness of the forgings that would go unnoticed unless placed side by side. The RA comnecting rods are noticably thicker towards the piston pin. Both STi rods are slightly thicker overall but are also made of a stronger material.

From past testing the NA rods and even the 2.0 WRX rods would bend/break around 400 ft/lbs but the 2.5 STi rods could handle 500 ft/lbs with responsible tuning 😎
