I am experiencing two, very different whirlwinds this week, my friends: one that you see in the Florida Legislature committee rooms where we are hammering out our constitutionally obligated budget for the free State of Florida, and one that has spanned a very blessed 55 years with my precious, beloved bride.

She is my rock, my constitution; there is no dawn without her light. She is the quiet, steady force behind my efforts in Tallahassee and also a force to be reckoned with. Happy Anniversary, Caroline Maney— I look forward to so many more!
