Maybe you have a food memory that feels good ... in a few weeks, Georgia Peaches will be back in grocery stores - juicy, delicious and reminding you of sweet Summer time. We hope to bring you good thoughts, no worries and lots of gratitude.

Look out for the Feel Good Fruit of the Summer ...

This is the time of year when our growers are busy "thinning" peach trees. Thinning involves pruning our trees so peaches can grow bigger with better quality and help our trees stay strong and healthy ... so we can bring juicy delicious peaches to you!

Here's a sneak peek of how things are going in the orchards. A lot of care and work goes into making sure we bring you the best Georgia peaches each season.

Notice in the first two pictures how our baby peaches are growing so close together on the branch ... after thinning, these branches will bear fruit with better color, size and quality. The third picture shows more room on the branch for peaches to grow while the tree can focus more nutrients directly to the peaches that remain, bringing you a better quality peach.

It's the right thing to do for our trees and this is the time to do it. We're just over 30 days away from peach season!
