Daniel Vigil Music
03/27/2026
I’ve been quiet for a while.
This past year, my mom got sick, and I tried to walk through it all with her—hospitals, hospice, and eventually saying goodbye.
It pulled me out of music. But it also gave me clarity.
I’ll be honest about something: I wish I had gone all in on music sooner. I regret that. Not for me, but because my mom will never get to see what I’m building now.
Watching her go made something very clear to me -I don’t want to spend my life doing anything other than working on what I love.
So when things settled, I went down to Arkansas and recorded my debut EP with JD Clayton at Sol Studios - the same place Tanner Usrey recorded Sol Sessions.
JD is the real deal. He’s built a serious audience, has songs that have reached millions of people, and a sound my mom would have loved. Getting to make a record with him - having him play on it and help shape these songs - means more to me than I can really explain.
I’m proud of this music. And I’m ready to start putting it out into the world.
