The Party Place
The Party Place is Arkansas' largest independently owned Party and costume store. It is also the only year round costume store in Fort Smith, Rogers and Conway.
We need several seasonal employees at each store to work through our busiest time of the year, Halloween.
While these are temporary positions, you will be trained and observed during this time for future/permanent positions and we currently have permanent positions to fill.

Customer Service Associate Description:

Understands and is totally sales and service focused on the customer. The customer is our priority.
Acknowledges all guests through a greeting, smile or eye contact regardless of the task at hand.
Demonstrates knowledge of store products and uses this knowledge to build sales.
Practices suggestive selling, offering every guest related items in order to build multiple sales.
Maintains the highest standards of integrity, quality and timeliness in all of our business practices both internally and with our external partners.
Assists in merchandising the store following the Supervisor's instructions.
Maintains store merchandising and operational standards.
Follows all Company policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Up to a $1,500 Retention Bonus
• The replenishment process will require you to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs daily.
• Cleaning, store recovery, setting plan-o-grams and endcap maintenance is required.
• Climbing ladders is required to re-stock and obtain merchandise for our customers.
• Ringing transactions on a register is required.
• Utilization of our helium system to fulfill customer orders is required.

RESULTS MATTER!
• Key Holders will master all service platforms, including in-store pickup, delivery, curbside pickup, and others.
• You will manage and plan the daily and weekly workload to deliver on store sales goals and customer engagement.
• You will assist the Store Manager with team onboarding and learning.
• You will continuously direct and coach store team members.
• You will support the Store Manager in holding associates accountable to expectations.
• Key Holders are expected to work a schedule that aligns to customer and business needs,
• (this includes early morning, evening, overnight shifts, and weekends).

• Key Holders are responsible for creating an environment that promotes associate engagement and retention.
• As part of the Manager on Duty (MOD) team, you are responsible for other various processes and procedures to ensure an efficiently operating store.
