Fort Rucker Community Garden

Good afternoon all. Wanted to share an amazing opportunity. There will be a Community Garden Workshop on Tuesday, April 24, 2026, at Autrey Recreation Center, 749 W. Reynold St., Ozark, AL, from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. All volunteers are welcome to attend! 🪏🪴

Good evening all! The time has come to appoint new leadership within the Community Garden. We are looking for four Active Duty Soldiers and one Civilian volunteer to serve as garden stewards for the Fort Rucker Community Garden. Hello all! This is a friendly reminder that if you visit the garden, please be respectful. We ask that all visitors refrain from any harvesting. Be respectful of private plots, as they are contracted out to their respective owners. Do not conduct any gardening work to private plots. If you have any questions about the garden rules, do not hesitate to reach out via DM and one of our garden stewards will assist you.

This week’s 3lb harvest of peppers and beans brings our yearly total to 127 lbs of produce given back to our Fort Rucker community.

Produce on the harvest stand is free to the community. Please remember to leave all containers while visiting the harvest stand, and please do not harvest without permission.

Good morning, Fort Rucker! We currently have TWO private garden plots available to the community. Plots are available on a first come, first served basis, and rental requires a garden tour with community garden leadership. Please reach out today for more information and to schedule your tour!

Herbs, loofa, peppers, and radishes add another 1 lbs of food to the harvest stand!

This harvest brings our yearly total up to 116lbs of produce given back to our Fort Rucker community. Thank you to our amazing volunteers for caring for our garden & making this happen!
