This past week, we celebrated our 115 Thrive Award winners — students in Pre-K through 5th grade who achieved 95% attendance for the second semester, had zero behavior referrals, and earned a 3.0 GPA or higher on their report cards!

We also recognized students with perfect and outstanding attendance for the 4th quarter. A special congratulations goes to our two students who achieved PERFECT attendance all year long — with no tardies and no absences! We also had our final cafe winners for the year!

Our staff members were celebrated as well for their perfect attendance in the 4th quarter. Congratulations also to Mrs. Chandler, Ms. Jami, and Ms. Sera for receiving scholarships from the Geary County Foundation to continue their education.

We are so proud of our Buffaloes and all they have accomplished this year!

This past month, 20 students were selected as the most improved reader in their classrooms. Thank you so much to the ICARE foundation for the donation of books that each student received. They were all so excited to take them home and start their reading off on the right foot for the summer.

We want to congratulate over own Adalynne who was nominated as our most improved student!

Addalyne has made tremendous academic growth this year, and we could not be more proud of her! She consistently puts forth outstanding effort in everything she does. She carefully shows her work, stays determined even when tasks are challenging, and always strives to do her very best.

What makes her growth even more impressive is her willingness to seek help and keep learning. She faithfully attends tutoring, asks questions when she struggles, and never gives up on herself. Her hard work, perseverance, and positive attitude are truly paying off. She should be incredibly proud of all she has accomplished this year. We love her sweet spirit and dedication to learning. Way to go Addalynne!

With her nomination, she was able to meet the mayor and receive a medal for her hard work. We are so proud of her!
