515th Combat Engineer Company - Armored

This week, the Outlaws celebrated the Holidays by donating Toys to Children’s Mercy out of KC! The Toy Ruck was a great success and the kids are grateful for all of the donations! Additionally, the Outlaws hosted a Holiday Party where we celebrated with games and great food. Have a safe and wonderful holiday season!

Congratulations to the Bullock and Kokesh families on their new additions! The Outlaw family just got a little bit bigger!

MISSION SUCCESS

During the past 11 days, 515th CEC-A vigorously trained several Engineer tasks to further mission readiness for the Company. The Outlaws crushed Squad Live Fire Exercises, a demolition range, Engineer Qualification Table V, and a Platoon level Attack/Defense. During these events, the Sapper Platoons were pushed to their mental and physical boundaries by the intensity of the missions and the weather. Additionally, the A+O Platoon dug track and personnel fighting positions, anti-vehicular ditches, and water pits to ensure mission success. Additionally, they dug radar positions for 1-7 Field Artillery to assist their mission.

We would like to thank Rugged 6 and 7 for visiting during EQTs, and Fighter 6 for joining the Platoon vs. Platoon attack/defense. We are extremely grateful for the hot chow provided by 511th Quatermaster throughout the FTX. Also, special thank you 3-1 Assault Helicopter Battalion and 1-6 Air Calvary Squadron who provided decisive air support and their ability to expand Outlaw readiness.

MASTER THE BASICS.

515th spearheaded the preparations of Fightin' Fifth! 5th Engineer Battalion ESB (Expert Soldier Badge) Candidates, providing their expertise in instruction, materials, and validation. The ESB is the certification of mastery over a number of Basic Soldier Tasks. Our Candidates will go on to test at 1st Infantry Division ESB in a few weeks.
