Join us for the 4th Annual MMPS Environmental Inc. Fort Pierce Inlet Cleanup Dive & island eBikes Seaway Drive Cleanup, Sunday, August 18, 2024

BOATS & LAND CREW NEEDED
**please note, you do not have to be a diver to help with our cleanup efforts**

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
•Captains with vessels
•Divers (must provide us with a copy of your certification)
•Bubble watchers/debris collectors on boats to collect debris as divers bring it to the surface
•Volunteers on land to clean up, as well as to inform our Jetty fishing community what is happening
•Would LOVE some drone footage and photos, any photographers out there we would love to have you

We need people on land at the Jetty to assist with letting our local fishermen know what we are doing and to keep lines out of the water while there are divers. This is imperative! We love our local fishermen, but cannot have lines in the water with divers down.

We also need land crew and eBike riders to assist with our island eBikes Adopt-A-Highway Seaway Drive Cleanup. We will be cleaning from the SLC Aquarium, all the way to the end of the Jetty.

We would like to give a HUGE thank you to our sponsors, without you, this cleanup would not be possible!

TO PARTICIPATE: You MUST contact Monique either via email at [email protected] or TEXT MESSAGE at (772)271-8648 NO INITIAL CALLS PLEASE.

To help keep the Fort Pierce Inlet clean and beautiful, MMPS Environmental needs YOU to help with our 4th Annual Fort Pierce Inlet Cleanup Dive & Seaway Drive Cleanup! The land and sea cleanup will take place Sunday 8/18, with a Mandatory Captains Meeting 8/17.

The goal of the Fort Pierce Inlet Cleanup Dive is to remove unseen debris and materials from the Fort Pierce Inlet, while keeping SAFETY number one. Diving the Fort Pierce Inlet is dangerous, and prohibited, unless special clearance is granted through the Coast Guard and other local authority agencies, which we have obtained. It is of the utmost importance that all Captain's and Divers please follow instructions given at the mandatory meetings.

It has been one year since the inlet was last cleaned of foreign debris, at our 3rd annual cleanup dive last August. Our hopes are that this will become a quarterly ongoing project which will help to maintain the health of the Fort Pierce Inlet and that portion of the Indian River Lagoon; keeping our slice of paradise pristine. Thank you all in advance for your participation in this cleanup dive! Together, we can keep our inlet healthy, clean and beautiful. We appreciate you!

Can’t wait to see everyone out there! Thank you all!
