After more than 17 years of dedicated service in education, we celebrate Mr. Peter Snyders and the incredible impact he has made on students throughout St. Lucie County.

A career changer who began teaching at nearly 50 years old, Mr. Snyders brought passion, experience, and a genuine love for helping students succeed. From high school reading and history classes to middle school language arts, ESE, and academic support, he has touched countless lives along the way.

For the past six years, Dan McCarty Middle School has been fortunate to benefit from his knowledge, patience, and commitment to student success. His influence will be felt long after his final day in the classroom.

Thank you, Mr. Snyders, for your dedication, service, and unwavering belief in students. We wish you happiness, good health, and many exciting adventures in this next chapter.
