So true and a good story. Just a couple of years ago when working with my then personal trainer, I told him I wanted to start working towards powerlifting. His reply to me was ‘What does your husband think about that.’ Now granted, I’m in my 50’s (I’m a YOUNG 50’s thank you LOL) and mr. trainer is about the same age group.. But whaaa whaat???! Do I need to bring a note that says my husband approves of me lifting heavy? Fast forward, new personal trainer and same supportive cute hubby.
