As a Cleaning Technician with GFS Building Maintenance Inc., you will be an asset to our team!

We are seeking candidates who take pride in their work, and are reliable.You will be responsible for the cleanliness of premium and highly visible locations. We will count on you to clean and maintain your assigned facilities according to your scope of work.

Job Requirements:

Maintain safety procedures by handling cleaning equipment and supplies according to company protocols. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash and replace trash bags. Cleaning and stocking restrooms, break rooms, operating rooms, and other areas. Disinfect all surfaces, dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Polish/clean windows and other surfaces as assigned. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and other duties as outlined in the scope of work. Other duties as assigned. Must have own transportation to and from job site.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Ability to accurately use cleaning chemicals. Knowledge to use personal protective equipment when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ability to perform independently on the basis of current procedures. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods of time Use timekeeping system to document hours worked per day. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Push cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, trash cans, water buckets, etc. Communicate any problems to immediate supervisor. Must be able to pass background screen and E-Verify.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: Must be detailed oriented and reliable!!!!! Very detailed cleaning!! One year cleaning experience preferred in surgical center, we provide training. If no experience must be willing to learn.

We are looking for hard-working night-time Cleaners to join our commercial team. In this role, your main tasks are to clean bathrooms, disinfect surfaces, clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, dusting surfaces and removing trash to dumpsters. Maintain safety procedures by handling cleaning equipment and supplies according to company protocols. Some janitorial experience or commercial cleaning preferred, but will train! Our ideal candidates are team players who are reliable, and take pride in doing a good and thorough job for each client.

Pay depends upon experience!
Paid Weekly.

Must be able to pass E-Verify.
