But I only lost 2 pounds...
Sure, in 4 months my 37 year old client only lost 2.2 pounds of weight. But that number on the scale isn’t telling the whole truth. Far too often we (women especially) have a number in mind that we want to weigh or how many pounds we want to lose. There is nothing wrong with that but don’t be discouraged when it doesn’t happen as quick as you want it to or when your body is changing in other ways.
Again, only 2.2 pounds in difference but here’s the cool part:
An 8.8 pound decrease in fat mass
A 4 pound increase in skeletal muscle
A decrease in body fat percent by 5.6%
