Employment Revitalization Program

The 99% percent of the USA is part of the 1% of the world. Open your eyes people, realize that there is more than just the USA. We are a global community, so open your eyes and learn to love and live with all those around you. National borders mean nothing in this day and age.

Here is a copy of our letter to local employers.

Dear Employer:

As a successful small business, we believe [Company Name] is the perfect candidate for The Employment Revitalization Program. The program is being developed by a group of concerned economic students that plan to reform the current policy for unemployment in the USA. We are currently in the process of proposing the program to Governor Scott and other Florida politicians in order to gain feedback and support from local businesses. Our program will enable you to take on and train employees with minimal cost to you. Through our proposed program, the unemployed and discouraged can become trainees under your direction and receive field experience, all while collecting unemployment benefits rather than a salary coming from your pocket.

Our mission is to proactively assist and assimilate laid off workers into the workforce environment. We believe the program will be successful because it benefits both the company and the unemployed participant. Those participating in the program will receive not only new skills from job training, but encouragement from their experience in the work force, while businesses will experience increased productivity at minimal cost.
