Our sweet DJ continues to be our writing inspiration even though he’s gone. We thought we’d share some facts about him in honor of National Kitten Day 🤍

1) He was named after Derek Jeter
2) He was with us for 13 years!
3) He loved to scratch furniture but never humans
4) He was often caught drinking from the toilet
5) He loved the sound of wrapping paper
6) He snored louder than most people
7) His favorite place to lay was clean towels
8) As a kitten he slept on tops of cabinets
9) He was extra naughty when hungry
10) He never met someone he didn’t love

We stumbled into a street fair vintage bookseller and fell straight into a childhood nostalgia spiral — First Editions, early copies, facsimiles, and collector's gems of Harry Potter, Paddington, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and more.

We physically had to be pried away from the table.
