This summer, EDSA interns took on the planning of Heritage Village, a mixed -use development connecting two iconic projects in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Reimagined as the cultural heart of the district, the conceptual plan celebrates the stories, heritage and character of the region while shaping a vibrant destination for everyday life. Inspired by traditional patterns of movement, gathering and discovery, the village weaves together shaded pathways, intimate courtyards, souks, landscapes and public spaces that invite people to explore and connect.

Shaped by the climate and landscape of the region, the plan promotes comfort, resilience and year-round activation — creating an enduring environment where culture, community, and nature come together.
