Here’s a crazy stat to think about. What’s even crazier is that Eye See Color Project offered to go into the Broward County School District, screen the children and help purchase color filtered glasses for children who cannot afford them.

Unfortunately our proposal was denied for an unknown reason.

If you know any schools or groups in south Florida that would be interested in partnering for a screening event, please let us know…

Here’s an example of why it’s so important for teachers to examine worksheets for potential color clashing.

You’ll see, for January and February, besides color, there is nothing to differentiate the three data points (blue, red and green).

However, in March and April, you can see the difference adding patterns can make for a colorblind student.

As you’ll see below, there are many jobs that you can serve in the military while being colorblind (usmilitary.com):

Administrative - HR, Financial Manager
Computer - Systems Maintainer, Signals Intelligence Analyst
Combat - Infantry positions
Mechanic - Maintenance, Construction Equipment Repairer, Artillery Mechanic, Machinist
Others- Motor Transport Operator, Cargo Specialist, Healthcare Specialist and many more !!!!
