I loved working on this beautiful hyacinth macaw. I always get a certain feeling of excitement when I come across a photo that I just have to draw and this one did it for me! The reference photo is by the super talented Edwin Butter.

I really enjoyed working on this beautiful jaguar. As soon as I saw the reference photo created by the brilliant Emmanuel Keller, I knew I wanted to give it a go. I used a mix of pastel pencils on dark gray pastelmat.

This was the most challenging piece I’ve ever done but I enjoyed the process. With every piece I create, I always learn something new. This drawing is 13x11 and I used dark gray pastelmat, pastel pencils and pan pastels.
