We have done SEVERAL repairs this year to brand new septic systems (a few being from the same installer) all because the installers do not know what that are doing and are not state certified (as in they do not know the codes and standards expected). Save your self tons of money by hiring a state certified professional the first time. It’s unfortunate that some of these installers do not stand by their work or even have insurance to cover them when they mess up. This home owner was dealing with her septic backing up into her home, after inspecting the system we found that the septic tank was too high. We had the tank pumped out to be moved to find that the previous installer let several large rocks fall into the tank and just left them there (16”+ rocks), they drilled the outlet hole in the wrong spot, the inspection ports were not to code and they also kindly buried all their trash when they back filled the system. We took the tank out, dug the hole deeper, put everything back together and now everything is flowing the way it should be!
